The following test tools are designed according to the criteria defined in the SATA-IO Interoperability Program. As the SATA-IO approved test tool, it can help you to effectively pre-verify if your product is in conformance to the SATA-IO Interoperability Program.

TF-SATA-FE/XP
• TF-SATA-FE-XP facilitates far-end connection to the Serial ATA host or device under test
• 1.5 Gb/s and 3.0 Gb/s bus signaling rates supported, meets or exceeds SATA-II electrical specification
• Test fixture connects to the far end of the host or device Serial ATA cable
• Differential 100 Ohm controlled-impedance PCB design
• Side-launch SMA connectors result in reduced torque from SMA cable connections
• Complementary companion to TF-SATA-NE-XP test fixture
• Facilitates Serial ATA compliance testing when used with Tektronix® TDS6604 and TDS7704 digital oscilloscopes and P7380SMA and P7313SMA probes, or other manufacturers’ DSOs and probes

TF-SATA-NE/XP
• TF-SATA-NE-XP facilitates near-end connection to the Serial ATA host or device under test
• 1.5 Gb/s and 3.0 Gb/s bus signaling rates supported, meets or exceeds SATA-II electrical specification
• Test fixture plugs in to the host or device Serial ATA connector, in place of the Serial ATA cable
• Differential 100 Ohm controlled-impedance PCB design

TF-SATA-IS/XP
• TF-SATA-IS-XP facilitates in-system monitoring of Serial ATA data signals
• 1.5 Gb/s and 3.0 Gb/s bus signaling rates supported, performance similar to CHS' TF-SATA-NE-XP and TF-SATA-FE-XP test fixtures
• Test fixture plugs in to the host or device Serial ATA connector, and connects to the device or host via the Serial ATA cable
• In-system access provided to all four Serial ATA differential signals
• Accommodates differential probe connections through 0.15 inch-spaced (3,8 mm-spaced) PCB vias
• Accommodates non-differential probe connections to ground through 0.15 inch-spaced (3,8 mm-spaced) PCB vias
• Unique three-layer differential 100 Ohm controlled-impedance PCB design
• Facilitates monitoring Serial ATA data signals in-system when used with appropriate high-performance digital oscilloscopes and differential probes



SATA II
• Serial ATA II, Serial ATA 1.0 and ATA/ATAPI 6 compliance; 1.5 Gb/s Gen1 and 3.0 Gb/s Gen2 rates supported
• Optionally supports SATA compliance frame error rate testing without use of a logic analyzer
• Acquisition of spread-spectrum-clocked data streams supported
• Monitors, triggers on, acquires and displays all aspects of Serial ATA signaling, including bus signal level (squelch), out-of-band (OOB) signaling, primitives, FIS frames, encoding and protocol errors (including independent CRC verification), bus utilization and error statistics
• Optional acquisition of undecoded (10b) data or unscrambled Data FIS contents
• Efficient use of acquisition memory achieved through optional compressed storage of repeated primitives
• Trailing portions of lengthy FIS Data frames can be optionally suppressed
• Works with Tektronix® TLA5xxx/6xx/7xx/7xxx logic analyzers having 136 channels and 150 MHz acquisition capability (also supports Gen1-only acquisition at 75 MHz); supports use of Mictor® or compression probes (with adapters)
• Hierarchical display shows optionally-acquired undecoded/unscrambled data, primitives, FIS frames, command protocol
