New Policy for Wi-Fi WPA2 - Enterprise Device Certification

The Wi-Fi Alliance recently updated security requirements related to WPA2-Enterprise Device Certification. Devices such as External Wi-Fi Card, Internal Wi-Fi Card, Ultra-Mobile PC, Notebook Computer, PDA, Smartphone-Dual-Mode, Smartphone-Single-Mode, Enterprise Access Point, Switch/Controller, Gateway or Router are required to be certified WPA2-Enterprise from July 1, 2008. WHQL Submission News Update

Microsoft will stop accepting Windows XP Logo Program system category submissions for all mainstream PC systems from July 1, 2008. However, The Windows XP Logo Program will continue to accept device category submissions until further notice. The Windows Logo Program will continue the Designed for Windows XP logo for ultra-low cost personal computers (ULCPCs).
