Allion joins SSD Alliance Inaugural Opening Ceremony

[ Nov. 12, 2008 Taipei ] More than 200 attendees came from over 70 companies have shown up at Sherwood Hotel Taipei to witness the very inaugural public event of the highly anticipated SSD Alliance (SSDA). The event was held by SSDA's original Founding companies and co-sponsored by Semiconductor Industry Promotion Office of Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs.

The SSDA elected Chair - Allion President/CEO Mr. Summer Chien stated in the opening speech that being one of the founders of SSDA, Allion has made major effort and contribution in new member recruiting, technical development and collaboration with other global organization. Our mission is to integrate the industrial resource and promote SSDA standards as a worldwide adopted test and compliance standard.

In the exhibition area, Allion also demoed some of the SSD related test solution and test fixtures.

3C Products Seminar - Excellent Product's Procurement vs. Quality Control

[ Nov. 13, 2008 Taipe ] This event is co-hosted by Allion and III (Institute for Information Industry) at National Taiwan University - Gis Convention Center. It was the first event Allion conducted with domestic retailers focusing on quality product selection and procurement.

Simon Yang, the Vice President of Topology Research Institute was invited to share the information studied about the presence and future of 3C Product Market Trends. SONY Taiwan's representative M. Nakajima was also presented as a guest speaker emphasizing on the steps and processes of how SONY operate Quality Assurance. In the last session of this event, Allion technical director David Tung shared his testing experience with renowned retailers on 3C product procurement and quality control.
