HDMI Compatibility Testing

Focusing on all current HD products in the consumer market, we can provide a third-party assurance and test guideline to your HDMI products. Allion has a unique test methodology called “Allion HD Program”, drafted by the industry experts; it features Electrical Test, HDCP & CEC Compliance Tests and wide range of test coverage on Interoperability tests (IOP) to reassure performance, functionality, and compatibility with your Sink, Source and Repeater products.

 

HDMI Pre-Compliance Testing

Submitting your product for HDMI logo license test can generate high efforts and costs. Allion offers a simulated and flexible test arrangement offering at the HDMI ATC. We are able provide expertise and guidance in HDMI technical consultation to help locate possible root cause and solution. Moreover, Allion’s detailed test report will help to gain confidence before the official product test at any designated HDMI Authorized Testing Center (ATC).

 

HDMI Compliance Testing

Obtaining HDMI Compliant Logo License
Prior to mass producing or distributing any Licensed Product or component that claims compliance with the HDMI Specification (or allowing someone else to do such activities); each Adopter must test a representative sample for HDMI compliance. According to HDMI Testing Policies, each Adopter must submit the first product of each Licensed Product type (i.e. source, sink, repeater, or cable) to an HDMI Authorized Testing Center (ATC) for testing:

DisplayPort Compliance & Logo Program

Allion is the independent test lab accredited by VESA (Video Electronics Standard Association) to perform DisplayPort compliance & logo program. As the first VESA accredited test lab in Taiwan, Allion believes that our testing experience and consultation expertise will help customers obtain the DisplayPort logo in the easiest and fastest way. HDCP Compliance Test

CEC Compliance Test CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) is one of the functions defined in the HDMI spec 1.2a. With integrated test proficiencies and resources, Allion is able to verify if the CEC function of your product can perform properly through the test platform. sRGB Compliance Program

Allion has defined a reasonable "test specification" with high-level analysis equipment, such as the Minolta CS-1000A and QuantumData 802R. Products that pass all tests will be granted the Allion sRGB Logo. This can be used by the manufacturer to show end users that the display has been tested by an independent third-party lab.
