Allion has been authorized by USB-IF Organization as one of its USB-IF Compliance Program. Having invested heavily to build up our test environment, we are able to provide all clients a convenient, efficient, and cost effective alternative while ensuring that their products are integrated. For years, Allion has been working with the USB Implementer's Forum and is certified by the Implementer's Forum to offer the official set of USB-IF tests. The test program is designed for hardware vendors who want assurance their products meet the USB specification.

The USB specification defines the product design targets at the level of interfaces and mechanisms. To complement the specification and enable measurement of compliance in product space, the USB-IF has instituted a Compliance Program that provides reasonable measures of acceptability. Products that pass this level of acceptability are added to the Integrator's List and receive the rights of usage for the USB logo.

The USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) is a non-profit organization formed to provide a support organization and forum for the advancement and adoption of Universal Serial Bus technology. The USB makes connecting computer peripherals easier by providing a standard serial cable connection, eliminating the need for add-in cards, setting DIP switches or changing IRQs. The types of products making use of the USB standard are including printers, keyboards, pointing devices, networking devices, monitors, scanners, and tape drives.
