- The European Commission published Directive (EU) 2022/2380, defining the requirements of the "common charging" solution that requires USB Type-C® and USB Power Delivery (USB PD) as the charging standard for portable devices (e.g. mobile phones, tablets, laptops, cameras, etc.). It will come into effect by the end of 2024.
- USB-IF Certification can be a valuable tool as your company looks to have its products comply with the appropriate IEC 62680 specifications and European requirements.
