Key Features of USB4 Linear Re-Driver Cable Certification
USB Active Cables can be divided into two main categories:
- Re-timer Active Cable
- Re-driver Active Cable (LRD Cable)
At present, only Re-driver Active Cables may be certified. USB4 Gen3 is the highest-speed version currently eligible for certification.
Primary test items for USB4 LRD cables include:
